AADC Dakar signs a contract with a management company

The African Athletics Development Center in Dakar (AADC) has signed a partnership agreement with a management company with the ambition to give its athletes the opportunity to participate in “the biggest meetings” and to have «substantial income. »

"This was the missing link for the center and with the arrival of this company, there is great hope for our athletes who will have a structure that can manage their careers and find sponsors and equipment suppliers," announced its director Amadou. Dia Bâ, in an interview with the Senegalese Press Agency (APS).

For Hussein Makka, the Director of "Elite Sports Management", "this is a great opportunity for us to be able to help the athletes of this center manage their careers in a more professional manner. I found quality and a careful ear by the athletes and in the long term, we hope to be able to have an Olympic champion. "

He said he was unable to say how long the collaboration with AADC would last, but said he hoped that this partnership could last "as long as possible".

Mr Makka, an American of Lebanese origin, says he has "more than 200 athletes in his stable and has several offices around the world."
