African Championships in Mauritius: 30 countries already involved

Nearly thirty countries are on the list of preliminary entries for the 22nd African Senior Championships scheduled for June 8 to 12, 2022 in Mauritius. The African Athletics Confederation has set May 2 as the closing date for final entries.

 

For the time being, the Mauritian Athletics Association (AMA) is making every effort to ensure that its athletes and officials are ready for the event. Thus, she recently completed the training of 23 technical officials through the Technical Official Education Course Level 1 (TOEC 1). The training took place on January 22 and 23 and 29 and 30 in Réduit, under the supervision of Vivian Gungaram and Khemraj Naiko. Participants of this course received their level 1 certificates on February 5 at a ceremony held at the headquarters of the federation.
