Togo rolls out the carpet at CAA

But the highlight of the visit was the audience given to President Kalkaba by the President of the Republic Faure Eyadema. The CAA greatly appreciated the decision of the Togolese Head of State to support the activities of the African Athletics Development Center in Lomé as well as the option for holding the African U Championships 18 and U 20 in 2023. The Togolese authorities, through Prime Minister Komi Selor Klassou and Minister of Sports Katari Folly Bazi, who gave a warm welcome to the CAA delegation assured their full support for the Togolese federation athletics for the success of the 6th edition of the African cross country championships. President Kalkaba also took advantage of his stay to pay a visit to the residents of the AADC in Lomé led by Rafael Agopomé.

The first meeting of the new CAA Council is scheduled for April 7, followed by the African cross country championship on April 8.
